Air-Fryer Carolina Gold Chicken Wings

We love a good bar-b-que sauce in the South and this doesn't disappoint. Pair the Carolina Gold sauce with these crispy air-fryer wings and you have a winner!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs fresh chicken wings
  • 4 tbs adobo seasoning
  • 4 tbs baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups prepared yellow mustard
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp Frank's Red Hot
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with adobo seasoning and baking powder.
  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until wings are crispy and golden brown.
  4. While the wings are cooking, prepare the Carolina Gold sauce. Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Once the wings are done, toss them in the Carolina Gold sauce until fully coated.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the golden deliciousness!
